This is a truly uninhabited region with no fixed settlements.
You will enjoy the peace and quiet of the wild, snow-covered mountains, where
it is possible to enjoy the hot sun by day and a cool mountain breeze at night,
whilst breathing the fragrant scent of pine trees.
Your route will take you through the Valley of the Kings. According to old legends
ancient kings from different dynasties were buried here. . Local people believe
these legends and still respect this place.
Whilst travelling here you will become stronger, healthier and full of the joys
of life.
Itinerary
| Day 1 | Arrival in Bishkek. The panorama of a city with a backdrop of the majestic snow-covered Ala-Too mountains will await you during your excursion around the city. Overnight in hotel. |
| Day 2 |
Trip to Naryn (400 km) - a former border town on the Great Silk Road and now from whence the road goes to the Torugart Pass the border crossing to Kashgar, China. Music folklore program of Kyrgyz people. Overnight in family run accommodation. |
| Day 3 |
A day trip to to the Gylysuu resort (200 km), through the Eki Naryn valley. This is where the Naryn - the biggest river in Kyrgyzstan, gets its power. It is the confluence of two rivers the Kichi (Small) Naryn and Naryn. At the Gylysuu resort it is possible to take a thermal water bath. Spend the night in tents. |
| Day 4 | Horse trek during which, you will cross the Ton Pass (4023 m) to the Tong Gorge (6-7 hours). From the pass you will have an excellent view of about five thousand mountains peaks. Spend the night in tents in this wonderful place below the pass, surrounded by mountain peaks and glaciers. (h - 3000 m). |
| Day 5 |
Horseback riding (6-7 hours) towards the Tort- Kolskoe reservoir, the route passes beside the raging Tong River and you will see many of its tributaries flower clad mountains. Spend the night in tents. |
| Day 6 | Ride to Burkut village (2-3 hours), on the southern coast of Lake Issyk-Kul. Transfer to Jety-Oguz Valley along the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. The local shepherds in this valley tell a lot of legends about the beautiful, famous, red rocks known as the "Seven Bulls" and "Broken Heart". Stay overnight in a yurta camp. |
| Day 7 |
Free day in Bishkek. You can visit galleries, museums and other points of interest. Farewell dinner in Bishkek. Accommodation in hotel. |
| Day 8 | Fly home. |
Level of difficulty: This tour is recommended for people with an average level of fitness and experience in horse riding, because sometimes they must ride for 5-6 hours per day.
Conditions: It is necessary to bring a sleeping bag, warm clothes, trekking boots, raincoat. Weight of personal things is not limited.
