Trekking Tour
Duration: 9 Days
Season: June - August
The valley of the Chon-Kemin River, stretching for more than 110 kms from west to east, is surprisingly beautiful. All the riches of Kyrgyz nature can be found here: the fantastic beauty of mountain views stretching to the far horizon, the turquoise surfaces of high-mountain lakes and the juicy greens of the Alpine meadows framed by unclimbable rocks and many different kinds of animals and flora. The pure, clean, air, sated by oxygen and the aroma of mountain flowers, makes the gorges of the southern slopes of the Zailii Range and the northern slopes of the Kungei Ala-Too Range, unique places. The high slopes of the Ala-Too Range are covered by a dark, fir forest and, combined with the silvery spots of glaciers, give the emerald green valley an extremely attractive appearance. The forest grows so richly that, from a distance, it is impossible to distinguish individual trees - the slope looks as if it is covered by huge pieces of dark green velvet.
